Graboid Plushie

You can really tell how bored I've been between typing and cleaning my room. This is something I made for my dad, who is a huge Tremors fan, and he had asked me to make him a graboid plushie. After aquiring a really old skirt with a snakeskin pattern on it, black denim, and some red cotton, I made this little monstrosity. My sister had the honor of naming it. I am having a staring contest with it as I type, for it resides on the computer monitor when dad's not playing with it.

The insane length of time was mainly planning on my part. Mainly, the head shape consumed the time, but so did planning how to make the tongue/tentacle thingymajigs go into the body and come back out. I guess that carefully sewing it by hand didn't help either, but I hate our sewing machine with a passion *glares at it*. I eventually need a boot tot the head, since if I want to make costumes I can't keep hand-sewing everything.....
